Insights from an Organic Certifier — Webinar Portal.

Participate in this webinar to hear insights and stories from an organic certifier concerning inspections and common issues with a focus on conservation practices related to certification.

This webinar will briefly discuss the process of organic certification including the on-farm inspection. The presenter will describe key issues and concerns that are examined in the inspection and review process. The presentation will include a discussion of common mistakes and anecdotal stories to highlight certifier concerns. Certification requirements related to conservation, such as erosion, biodiversity, soil fertility, and pest management will be highlighted.

Would you like to attend a class about irrigation topics from the comfort of your chair?

Now, you and your peers can attend not one but several webinar on water, irrigation and agriculture. Hosted by the Specialty Crop Research Initiative (SCRI). Crop health, agricultural water security and environmental footprint are three interconnected sustainability issues of national significance. This webinar series presents the latest research data that are crucial to address these complex issues. Specifically, this series will focus on irrigation pathogens and recycled water quality.
